No. The real advantage is in a download version as that provides you with the latest installation version of Norton 360 which is always available from within your Norton Account/Norton Manager. In addition, you can always burn your downloaded installation file onto a CD/DVD or simply save it on your hard drive if you feel a necessity for having it recorded.
