The Cool Exploit Kit was a malware toolkit developed by the same group behind the Blackhole Exploit Kit. It targeted similar vulnerabilities in web browsers and plugins to deliver malware. Cool was considered more advanced and expensive, often using zero-day exploits (unknown software vulnerabilities) to increase its success rate. Like Blackhole, it was eventually dismantled by authorities.
