How can I reset or disable Norton 360 settings password?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Norton 360 settings password can be reset by using the <em><strong>reset settings password<\/strong><\/em> option in the <em><strong>Select Uninstall Preference<\/strong><\/em> window.<br \/>\nIn order to do this, you have to start the uninstall process for Norton 360 via your Microsoft Windows Control Panel. Please note that you will not uninstall Norton 360, but only use the reset password feature to solve your lost password problem.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Windows Control Panel, open <em><strong>Add or Remove Programs<\/strong><\/em> (for Windows XP) \/ <em><strong>Programs and Features<\/strong><\/em> (for Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8), and then select Norton 360 and click <em><strong>Change\/Remove<\/strong><\/em> (Windows XP) \/ <em><strong>Uninstall\/Change<\/strong><\/em> (Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8).<\/li>\n<li>At the bottom of the <em><strong>Select Your Uninstall Preference<\/strong><\/em> window, click <em><strong>reset settings password<\/strong><\/em>, and follow the on-screen instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t want to use this protection feature, the Norton 360 Settings Protection Password can be turned off.
