Sometimes Norton VPN may block access to a specific website or web content. Learn how to fix problem accessing a specific website when connected to Norton VPN<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition, websites and services you are trying to use may be blocking your access via VPN.<\/p>\n

Learn why media streaming services or apps do not work when connected to Norton Secure VPN<\/h2>\n

Some streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu and Showtime, offer geo-restricted content that makes it unavailable in certain regions. These services also block the content if they detect a VPN, a proxy, or an unblocking service as a method to bypass the geo-restrictions.<\/p>\n

To fix this problem, try connecting to a different VPN region.<\/p>\n

CONNECT TO A DIFFERENT VPN REGION<\/h3>\n

Norton Secure VPN app on Windows or Mac<\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. Open the Norton Secure VPN app on your desktop.<\/li>\n
  2. In the VPN region, select a different geographic region from the drop-down list.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Norton 360 on Windows or Mac<\/h4>\n
      \n
    1. Open your Norton device security product.<\/li>\n
    2. In the My Norton window, click the drop-down arrow next to Secure VPN and click VPN region.<\/li>\n
    3. In the VPN regions window, select a different geographic region from the list.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Norton Secure VPN app on Android or iOS<\/h4>\n
        \n
      1. Open Norton Secure VPN.<\/li>\n
      2. Tap the location icon at the bottom of the screen.<\/li>\n
      3. In the Regions screen, select a different geographic region from the list.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        You may also try accessing the website using a different browser. If the issue persists, then you may have to temporarily unblock Ad tracker to visit the website.<\/p>\n

        UNBLOCK AD-TRACKER FEATURE<\/h3>\n

        Norton Secure VPN app on Windows or Mac<\/h4>\n

        1. Open the Norton Secure VPN app on your desktop.\n
            \n
          • Depending on your operating system, do one of the following:<\/li>\n
          • Windows: Click the Settings icon at the top of the Norton Secure VPN app and click Ad Tracker Blocking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
          • Mac: Click the User-added image icon on the left-side of the Norton Secure VPN app.<\/li>\n
          • Under Ad Tracker Blocking, slide Block Ad Trackers to disable Ad Trackers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Norton 360 on Windows or Mac<\/h4>\n

            1. Open Norton Secure VPN.
              \nIn the My Norton window, click the drop-down arrow next to Secure VPN, and click Ad Tracking.<\/li>\n
